Rebecca Findlow

Dip.Ed., M. Psych. (Clin.), M. Sc. (Marriage & Family Therapy), MAPS

Rebecca is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who helps late adolescents and adults with a range of challenges including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, stress, life transitions and health concerns such as chronic pain and fibromyalgia. She has a particular interest in couples therapy and has trained in both Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy in Australia and Seattle. Rebecca is currently working towards international accreditation as an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist. She has extensive experience across a variety of fields including university counselling, acute psychiatry, psycho-oncology and private practice.

Rebecca works collaboratively with clients to identify their core difficulties and develop solutions. She uses an integrative therapeutic approach that includes modalities such as CBT, ACT, Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy. Rebecca is interested in helping people to identify and build on their strengths while shifting entrenched and problematic ways of thinking.

She currently works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from our 42 Villamanta Street building.
