Tanya Herrmann-Doig

Tanya is a clinical psychologist who works with young children, adolescents and adults. She has significant clinical experience in such areas as anxiety (including panic, phobia and obsessive-compulsive disorder), childhood emotional, behavioural and academic problems, depression, eating disorders, management of stress and worry, trauma reactions, and psychosis.

She has conducted research with Orygen Youth Health and has authored texts on psychological interventions for psychotic conditions and youth suicide prevention.

Tanya works from an evidence-based, holistic perspective that primarily involves cognitive-behavioural interventions that aim to encourage more effective coping and build on existing strengths.

Tanya usually works Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from our 28 Villamanta street building and Tuesdays on telehealth.
