Nicolette Ingram

B.Psych.Sc (Hons), MA Psych. (Neuro)

Nicolette is a Clinical Neuropsychologist who works with people of all ages with neurological or cognitive challenges.

Nicolette provides educational assessments for primary and high school aged children. She works closely with our child clinical psychologists to complement their therapy approaches with her assessment skills and can be involved in school liaison sessions.

Nicolette also has a particular interest working with adults experiencing issues with their memory or other cognitive skills. She offers assessments to explore the impact of a brain injury or medical condition on a person’s thinking and memory, and can conduct capacity assessments if required. To do this, Nicolette uses a broad range of tests including the WISC, WAIS, WIAT and WMS. Nicolette’s reports focus on offering practical recommendations for supporting a person’s cognitive function, mental health, behaviour and overall wellbeing.

Nicolette provides therapy in the context of long-term work injuries or following motor vehicle accidents. She enjoys providing family support sessions to families affected by brain injury (such as dementia, traumatic brain injury and stroke).  Her therapy approach is informed by the fields of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, motivational interviewing and positive psychology. Nicolette’s approach is strengths based and individualised for each client to help them gain a greater understanding of their cognitive difficulties and to optimize their mental functioning.

Nicolette is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and is a registered provider for Medicare and Private Health Insurers

Assessments and other appointments with Nicolette can be booked through our administrative team.
