Naina is a psychologist who provides counselling across the lifespan to children, adolescents and adults facing mental health challenges. Naina has a Masters degree in psychology and worked as a psychologist in India and Sudan before moving to Australia 10 years ago. She completed her clinical training in Australia in 2022, and has gained a wealth of clinical experience both in Australia and overseas.
She brings a wealth of life experience, empathy and enthusiasm to her work. Naina’s approach to therapy is strongly informed by CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), but she also brings a wide range of therapeutic approaches to her work, including brief psychodynamic therapy and play therapy for children. She is able to see both children and adults presenting with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, chronic fatigue and children presenting with behavioural problems, social skills training or emotion regulation difficulties.
Naina is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and a registered provider with Medicare and Private Health Insurers.
Naina works full-time, Mondays to Fridays from our 28 Villamanta Street practice.
