BA, MA, Psy.D Clinical Psychology
Michael is a clinical psychologist with extensive training and experience who offers psychotherapy for a wide range of presenting problems. He sees adolescents and adults presenting with challenges including depression, anxiety, anger, substance abuse, bullying, trauma, grief, OCD and ADHD.
Michaels’s therapy approach is evidence-based and integrative. He draws upon many fields of psychology including cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, psychoanalytic theory, motivational interviewing and positive psychology and is interested in a person-centred approach. Michael is also trained in sports psychology and completed a doctorate in this area working with university-level basketballers in the US.
Michael works with clients to motivate them to change their problematic circumstances and
his therapy aims to help people gain greater clarity and peace.
Michael is a registered provider with Medicare and Private Health Insurers and works full time, Monday to Friday, from our 42 Villamanta Street building.
