Clinical Psychologist

Allie is a Clinical Psychologist who offers therapy for children, teenagers, and adults with a broad range of presenting issues. These include mood disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, self-harm, trauma, grief, phobias, behavioural and adjustment issues, eating disorders and OCD.

Allie utilises a number of empirically-proven treatment approaches to guide her work including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and positive psychology. She is a trained provider of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Allie has an active interest in wellbeing science and is passionate about applying mindfulness and positive psychology principles to assist people to lead their best possible lives. She works collaboratively with her clients to identify barriers to optimal health and wellbeing, build resilience and to flourish in life.

Allie has a special interest in working with teenagers. She has worked extensively around Geelong and Melbourne with Headspace, Medicare Local and within the school system. She loves to work with young people and their parents to guide positive development before entrenched issues develop. Allie is also able to conduct psychometric testing if required.

Additionally, Allie has a particular interest in women’s health and has long term experience working with women with unplanned pregnancy and related issues.

Allie is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and is a registered provider as a Clinical Psychologist with Medicare and Private Health Insurers.

Allie works four days per week Tuesdays to Fridays in our 28 Villamanta Street building.
